JAM'S WEEKLY THOUGHT: RELATIONSHIPS

So a friend of mine on facebook once posted a status that read: Dont get into relationships in months that end in R.  To be honest I didn't understand it in the beginning, but suddenly its starting to come to light.  It seems that the holidays bring misery, and as we all know, misery loves company.

Sometimes we try to rely on other people to support us....to help us build the foundation in ourselves that we cannot build on our own but ultimately, what ends up happening is that we destroy what was already created, causing a 'self destruct' action along with a monsoon type meltdown of emotion.  We all know it....We've all been there, and even then it can't be avoided....or can it?

I have a saying for relationships:  don't put out 100% if your signifigant other is only putting out 10%....you'll burn out and ultimately end up in that emotional monsoon I was talking about earlier.

Relationships come and relationships go, its inevitable but a relationship that lasts is something worth waiting a lifetime for.  Too many times have I heard relationships ending because 'they changed' or 'its not the same as before'....why?  Why has it changed?  Why isn't it the same as before? And if its something that can be fixed, would you?

That's my question to you reading this.  If you have a signifigant other already, tell them how much they mean to you and actually mean it...if you don't, find somebody that makes you happy even when your mad.
